SMRD Studio

M. R. Daniels makes miniature houses...and castles, Italian villas, French hotels, Arabian courtyards... original handcrafted structures which might be called dollhouses, but M.R. thinks of them as imaginary environments peopled by characters she's seen, read about, or invented. Most of her houses are based on visits to Italy, or inspired by film, literature, museum research, or stories she recalls from her past. No two are alike.
Ms. Daniels also teaches workshops in various techniques and still does occasional exhibit design work.

SMRD Studio is located in north central Pennsylvania, at the base of the Endless Mountains.
